Picture
Dionysus was the god of grape harvest, wine, and wine-making. Dionysus played a big role in the Greek culture, because the Greeks drank lots of wine. He is a major, popular figure in Greek mythology and religion. Dionysus was also the last god to be accepted in Mt. Olympus, the youngest god, and the only one that had a mortal mother. Also, his festivals influenced the start to Greek movies. He is also known as the dying god.
